Calmer commissioned by Broxbourne Council to launch burnout-prevention training programme for Broxbourne-based businesses
Calmer are thrilled to announce we have been commissioned by Broxbourne Council to launch a fully funded burnout-prevention training programme for local businesses.
As part of the Broxbourne Strategic Partnership for Skills (BSPS) programme, which helps to bridge skills gaps and challenges in the local economy, this project aims to upskill six cohorts of senior leaders, managers and staff through Calmer’s CPD Accredited training courses in Practical mental health training in the workplace.
The program will launch the first two courses on Wednesday 12th November at Theobalds Enterprise Centre for managers and senior leaders followed by an employees session on Monday 17th November at Spotlight Theatre.
Limited spaces available - book now to ensure your spot!
Each course is dedicated to unpacking the benefits and the challenges associated with preventing burnout at work, as well as identifying the vital support needed to ensure a mentally healthy workplace culture.
Primarily, the aim is to address common challenges senior leaders, managers and their teams face with managing mental wellbeing at work, and provide practical strategies and resources to improve their personal wellbeing, support others, and build a resilient workforce.
These courses, led by our founder, burnout-prevention expert Tania Diggory, will explore a range of information and practical strategies, including:
The link between stress, anxiety and burnout, and evidence-based best practices for burnout prevention at work
Key steps for how best to support your wellbeing and others experiencing mental health issues
Practical steps to role model healthy habits and encourage good mental health, in team and 1-1 settings
“It cannot be overlooked the need for businesses to respond to burnout. Whether it be through employers or employees the costs of burnout are too high in this Borough and nationwide. For this reason, I am glad that the Council is helping to educate and inform local businesses and employees around ways in which they can prevent this.”
