We are delighted to announce that we have been commissioned by Broxbourne Council in Hertfordshire UK to launch a burnout-prevention training programme for Broxbourne-based businesses.
As part of the Broxbourne Strategic Partnership for Skills (BSPS) programme, which helps to bridge skills gaps and challenges in the local economy, this fully funded project offers a unique opportunity for six cohorts of senior leaders, managers and staff to access Calmer’s CPD accredited training courses in practical mental health training in the workplace.
“It cannot be overlooked the need for businesses to respond to burnout. Whether it be through employers or employees the costs of burnout are too high in this Borough and nationwide. For this reason, I am glad that the Council is helping to educate and inform local businesses and employees around ways in which they can prevent this.”
The first course will launch on Wednesday 12 November, from 9.30am-1pm at the Theobalds Enterprise Centre (TEC) in Cheshunt. On the day, entrepreneurs, senior leaders and managers will learn about practical strategies and resources to improve their personal wellbeing, how to support others, and build a more resilient workforce.
Local employees will also have the opportunity to benefit from the same training with dedicated sessions for this target group launching on Monday 17 November at the Spotlight Theatre in Hoddesdon, from 9.30am-1pm.
“We are delighted to have been commissioned by Broxbourne Council to support local businesses through our evidence-based training courses. We believe that prevention is far better than a cure, and effectively managing mental health in the workplace has never been a more prevalent issue.”
The courses which are completely free of charge, are led by expert Tania Diggory who will give valuable insight into the links between stress, anxiety and burnout, and will share evidence-based burnout practices.
